Spent some time today reading Sean Hood about general tips on writing and especially on screen writing. I especially liked the iterative process of improvement sketched
here, which is almost directly applicable to research as well:
Collection => Collation => Execution => Presentation => Collection
As Sean points out, the more direct way to cast this creative endeavor is to use the notions of
Survey => Learn => Improve => Share => Survey
which fit very broadly across artistic, academic and inquisitional activities.
